Ignition Interlock Journey 2016 Illinois

Hey there, my name is DJ. I am one of many people who have made a mistake in my past and drove while being over the legal limit. This blog is a journey / history of my road to getting my license back. I live in the great state of Illinois, where they require an interlock BAIID device for a certain period of time. For me, that is one year. How did I decide to make this blog? Well, I've read all of the horror stories about these devices, malfunctions, failures, violations, horrible customer service from the BAIID manufacturer. I made this to detail my journey through this device, to record and make notes for others so that they can see the experience as they are going through their own journey. Hopefully it will help someone as they are searching for answers, and with any luck, I'll have no problems at all! As a note: I do not drink anymore. Period. I don't use mouthwash with alcohol, I have done my research on each company that provides BAIID for IL and all of them seem equally not so great providers. I will also be using a BAKTRACK80 (police grade fuel breathalyzer) for comparisons to the BAIID installed into my vehicle. I will take pictures and videos along the way, along with timestamps for you all to follow along.
